The new Helge Lien Trio album "Hello Troll" is now available for sale in Norway. It will be released in the rest of Europe in the beginning of September.

Kongsberg Jazzfestival has awarded piano player Helge Lien with the DnBNor Musicians Award.

Helge Lien received in May this year the "Hansa Award" from the festival Nattjazz in Bergen. The award are on 50 000 NOK and is given every year to a norwegian jazz artist the jury belives to hold international qualities, and who has potential of international success.
The jury consisted of Jan Ole Otnæs from Molde Int Jazz Festival, Lars Mossefinn from Vestnorsk Jazzsenter, and the head of Nattjazz, Jon Skjerdal.

Helge Lien Trios previous album, "To The Little Radio", now exists on LP. The album was released in august 2006, by DIW (Japan.)
